First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak out.
His words teach a powerful truth. Hatred of one group does not end with that group.
It spreads. It encompasses everybody. It destroys societies. And Jews are often among its earliest victims.
Antisemitism is surging today. And you can do something about it.
But first, we need to understand where it comes from. What do Antisemites believe? Why does this hatred persist?
